Stock, ordering frequency, and budget settings
How big a safety buffer you want, how often you order, budget, and currency.
The settings are at the bottom of My data. When you change one, your orders are recalculated right away.
How much stock do you want to keep?
| Option | What it's for | Coverage for each group (A / B / C) |
|---|---|---|
| Save on inventory | Less money tied up; now and then you may run out of something | 95 / 90 / 85 out of every 100 weeks |
| Balanced | Recommended for most businesses | 97 / 95 / 90 |
| Almost never run out | More stock; you'll rarely run out of a product | 99 / 98 / 95 |
"97 out of every 100 weeks" means the safety buffer is enough in 97 out of every 100 weeks, even if you sell more than usual.
How often do you place orders?
Every day, twice a week, once a week, every two weeks, or once a month. If you order less often, each order is bigger, because it has to last longer.
Maximum budget per order
Available on the Professional and Business plans. If the total order goes over, we postpone the least urgent items first. Postponed products show up in Orders with a button to add them back.
Currency
The symbol shown next to amounts, for example $, S/, or Bs.
